2016-09-23: Suspension of a part of services in submission system due to server trouble

In BioProject, BioSample and DRA submission system, a part of services have been suspended since September 20th due to a server trouble.

Email notification services

  • Notification of release of BioProject, BioSample and DRA
  • Notification of coming of hold date of DRA data
  • DRA validation log

2016-09-14: bam reference sequences can be specified by multi-fasta

Submitters can specify reference sequences by the following two ways.

  • When accessioned reference is in the repository, specify by the INSDC/RefSeq accession.version.
  • When not in the repository, specify by uploading multi-fasta.

For the unmapped bam from PacBio and IonTorrent, neither the mapping table nor reference multi-fasta are not necessary.

DDBJ Sequence Read Archive (DRA) is an archive database for output data generated by next-generation sequencing machines including Roche 454 GS System®, Illumina Genome Analyzer®, Applied Biosystems SOLiD® System, and others. DRA is a member of the International Nucleotide Sequence Database Collaboration (INSDC) and archiving the data in a close collaboration with NCBI Sequence Read Archive (SRA) and EBI Sequence Read Archive (ERA). Please submit the trace data from conventional capillary sequencers to DDBJ Trace Archive.
