TitleSequencing the cecal microbiota of cholic acid-fed WKAH/HkmSlc rats
Study TypeOther
Abstract Bile acid has recently revealed to be a host factor that regulates gut microbiota in rats. Physiologically-relevant concentration of cholic-acid, a representative primary bile acid in human, was fed to the rats for 13-weeks and its effects on gut microbiota and host physiology was investigated.
