Graft-versus-host disease (GVHD) and infections are major obstacles to perform allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation. The intestinal microbial ecology is regulated by Paneth cells through secretion of antimicrobial molecules. Paneth cells were targeted in GVHD. Loss of Paneth cells by G ..
