TitleAxenic Chlorella variabilis F275 RNA-seq
Design DescriptionThe algal cells of axenic C. variabilis F275 was collected on sterilized polycarbonate membrane filters (47 mm diameter, 0.45m, Jinlong company, China). Total RNA was isolated with an easy-spin IIp Plant RNA Extraction Kit (Biomiga, Inc) and the RNA concentration and quality was assessed using NanoDrop 2000 (Thermo), Qubit 2.0 Fluorometer (Life Technologies) and an Agilent 2100 Bioanalyzer (Agilent Technologies, CA, USA). The cDNA is then made using random hexamers or oligo(dT) primers and the sequencing was performed using Illumina HiSeqTM 2000 in Novogene Bioinformatics Technology Co. (Beijing, China).
