Construction Protocol | Genomic DNA of B. subtilis Miyagi-4 was isolated from Luria Broth culture according to a routine biochemical isolation procedure. RNase-treated genomic DNA was used for construction of a paired-end library with a Paired End Sample Prep kit (Illumina, San Diego, CA) according to the manufacturer?s instructions. The constructed libraries were sequenced (56 cycles, paired-end runs) using an Illumina genome analyzer IIx. |
