Project titleEffect of P fertilization on arbuscular mycorrhizal communities and maize growth in a tilled and no-tilled system
Project Description
Utilizing the function of arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi (AMF) is important for optimizing their role for phosphorus (P) nutrition of maize in different tillage management systems. However, it is not clear how maize growth and P nutrition is related to AMF colonization and diversity of AMF communities in tilled or no-tilled management systems (Jansa et al., 2003). Thus, we investigated the impact of P-fertilization and tillage managements on the interaction among AMF colonization, AMF diversity in soil and maize roots, maize growth and P nutrition in no-tilled and tilled managements.
