Project titleDetection of genetic diversity of a fish population using environmental DNA analysis: Analysis strategies for eliminating sequencing artifacts
Project Description
In this study, we investigated the use of eDNA method to detect genetic diversity of fish population, and applied it to ayu sweetfish (Plecoglossus altivelis altivelis). 1 L of rearing water including eDNA of twenty ayu sweetfish were filtered immediately and environmental DNA were extracted. The eDNA samples were analyzed using MiSeq.
